Our Dedication

Our staff and volunteers are highly dedicated to the service of our residents and community clients. More than half of our staff have been with us for more than five years, with our most experienced team member dedicating 22 years of service to the residents at Wenonah. Their dedication shows in the high level of care and quality of life our residents enjoy.

A Brief History

Gulgong Hostel Association Incorporated was formed in 1987 as a community organisation to raise funds, build and manage a home for the aged and frail.

We are a registered charity, so any profit is used to enhance our facility and services.

Wenonah Lodge opened in August 1990 as a 16 bed hostel expanding to our current 25 beds.

Wenonah Community Care was opened in 2002 providing home care and home support to the residents of Gulgong and surrounds
