It is never too early to start thinking about an aged care application and familiarising yourself with our facility and services.
Your first step toward making your application is to telephone MyAgedCare on 1800 200 422 or visit www.myagedcare.gov.au and begin the process. You will need to provide relevant information and then a visit from the Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) will be arrange with you.
To make an aged care application for permanent admission into Wenonah Lodge and to receive government assistance with care and accommodation costs, your income and assets will be assessed by the Department of Human Services or the Department of Veterans’ Affairs. This assessment will be used to determine the costs you could be asked to pay and the amount of government assistance you will receive for your aged care costs and accommodation costs.
