Supporting a local aged care service such as ours, can be very rewarding, with all contributions going towards ensuring that our aged residents continue to benefit from the best care, advanced technologies, equipment and services well into the future.

Fundraising
Wenonah has an authority to Fundraise and is registered with the NSW Department of Fair Trading and the Australian Charities Not for Profit and Commission.
No matter how big or small your fundraising activity is, we are very thankful for your support. If you are able to let us know what your planned fundraising activities are, we may be able to support them through additional media awareness and community connections.
Volunteering
Volunteers come in all shapes and sizes and with many different skills and benefits that they can offer our residents, clients and facility.
Connection with our local community and stimulation from outside our facility is an important part of ensuring quality of life and enjoyment for our residents, and we welcome volunteers to assist us in this endeavour.
Our current team of volunteers are made up of a variety of compassionate, local people who are able to make a regular commitment, whether it be for an hour a week or a few hours a month. You do not have to have special skills, sometimes just sharing a cup of tea and having a chin wag with a resident on a regular basis can greatly enhance their wellbeing.
In addition to welcoming individuals, we also welcome businesses who are participating in corporate volunteer programs, or students who may be undertaking the likes of the Duke of Edinburgh Awards and the local Max Potential Program.
All Wenonah volunteers are required to have a Police Check when working within the aged care field, which is funded by Wenonah.

Bequests
Bequests from residents or community members are greatly appreciated, and this generosity aids us in continuing to offer high quality care to our residents. Every gift, no matter how large or small will make a difference to our facility and the residents we provide care for.
Gulgong Hostel Association Inc is endorsed as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) and it is covered by Item 1 of the table in section 30-15 of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997.
